Small Street Food Trailer, A Cheap Business Opportunity That Makes Hundreds A Day
Small Street Food Trailer, A Cheap Business Opportunity that Makes Hundreds a Day
What is street food? The food sold on streets, from American-style fast food to Asian food. It has become a popular trend in recent years, and it's easy to see why. It's convenient, affordable, and delicious! You can feed yourself on the road back home after work, instead of driving miles to dine in a restaurant. But what many people don't realize is that running a street food business can also be incredibly profitable. With a street food trailer and the right menu items, you can turn your passion for cooking into a successful business venture. Today, this case is all about a mobile street food trailer we built for a small business, including its unique design, features, and specification.
The Cheapest Food Trailer Model for Street Food Business
The client contacted us for a low-cost solution for his fast-food business. Why not consider starting small? The FR220D is the smallest food trailer model our company built, and it is suitable for all kinds of food businesses when it is equipped with specific equipment. Due to its small size and simple design, this small food cart starts at $2,200. Compared to other food trailer models, it is the cheapest solution we could offer. The client chose it as the basis of his build and required some modifications to its design and layout. Our design team worked for a few days to give an ideal small food trailer design that the client felt satisfied with.
Custom Street Food Trailer to Meet the Client's Needs
This small street food trailer is built for small fast-food businesses. With a length of 7ft and a width of 6ft, it can comfortably fit 2 people inside to serve eaters at most with a large service opening with an awning. Give a little push to the service opening, and the cover will rise slowly, exposing the trailer interior to the outside. When the day is over, just close the cover and latch the cover. Then, no one could open the opening and climb into the street food trailer. The interior height of the food trailer is about 7.5ft, making the street food trailer spacious.
We painted the street food orange to create a vivid vibe. The client asked for an enclosure for his gas tank. Our regular gas tank holder could not meet his standards. Therefore, we asked for the detailed dimensions of his gas tank and built an enclosed gas tank holder that could fit the client's gas tank perfectly. The holder is firmly welded to the trailer tongue. It has a cover for easy access. Besides, the gas tank holder is near the gas valve, so the gas tank can connect to the valve with a short tube, lowering the possibility of a fire hazard.
Considering that the client used his own cooking appliances in the street food trailer, we changed the electrical system to make sure it worked with the appliance the client had and installed sockets on the wells near the worktables that give a large countertop for placing cooking fixtures.
Interiors of the Street Food Trailer
In addition to the stainless steel worktables and 2 compartment water sink, essential food trailer equipment included in the price, the street food trailer has a wide range of features that boosts the street food business. Take a look at the full list of inclusions below:
Black Cotton Insulation: There is a layer of black cotton between the exterior walls and interior walls, protecting against heat in summer and cold in winter.
- Open Wall Shelf: A wall shelf is fixed on the rear wall to increase the storage space available in the small street food trailer. You can put light items on it to keep things within your reach, such as consumables and cooking tools.
Food Warmer: A transparent food warmer is installed on the front table to keep the best texture and quality of street food for a long time and display food to customers.
- Gas Stove: It is a multifunctional cooking appliance for making all kinds of meals. It has two heads, and the regulators help to control the flame easily. Connected to the gas pipe, it is able to be used when propane powers the business. No extra fee for installation.
- 1.5m Commercial Range Hood: To lower the fire hazard, a stainless steel range hood is installed above the cooking appliances. It is the necessary food trailer equipment that many states require.
- 170L Under-bench Fridge: Under the front table, there is a commercial under-bench fridge with individual compartments for refrigerating and freezing. Commonly, it is not recommended to have a fridge in the FR220D because of the small width of the trailer. The countertop of the fridge is wider than the worktable, making the walkway narrow. However, the client insisted on the installation of a fridge. That was the best we could do. If you need a large refrigerated room, the FR220WD, a wider version of the FR220D, is more advisable.
